FILM PODLASIE IN ATTACK!

Film Podlasie in Attack! It is the action which aim is to popularize all kinds of independent cinema from northern-east part of Poland. The idea was born in 2004 in the heads of amateur filmmakers and workers of Cultural Center in Bialystok. It was born in Podlasie, the place when many cultures and religions meet, in the land of artists, bisons, wildlife and the one and the only potential that has got outlet in original creative activities. Our action is a kind of 'film and artistic gate' that joins all what the best in eastern Europe with the best elements from western Europe. FPA! is  unique local activity and its breadth  and success results from local people energy and...natural sense of humor. Till now set with films from FPA visited more than 50 towns and cities in Poland, Belorussia, Ukraine, Latvia, Czech Republic and Germany. Action FPA visits small towns and big agglomerations in cinemas, pubs, during film and music festivals, student seminars and ...outdoor. Films shown are of many different kinds and their authors are people awarded on Polish  festivals and people who presented their films before only to their friends . Among them we have poets, journalists, students, artists, university students and people with non-commercial attitude, so called independent moviemakers.Creators who show film in FPA action! also are part of international exchanges and film workshops as tutors and lecturers.
