Autumn with Blues
Festival is the gathering of the blues fans which close and sums up the annual season of the blues festivals in Poland. It is also every season's last chance to appreciate the blues performers from Poland as well as all around the world. The first festival took place in 1978 and was the result of Ryszard "Skiba" Skibinski's, the legendary leader of Kasa Chorych band, idea. The festival is the only wvwnt of this sort in the northeast in Poland providing opportunity to hear and appreciate a variety of blues forms: acoustic, electric, blues-rockm boogie, jump and rhythm'n'blues.
It is not only the legends who come to perform at the festival. According to its radiation, we welcomes young performers, inclufing the ones from Bialystok, as for example: Formacja FRU, After Hours, The Hardworkers and Devil Blues. So far, among many other names, the festival has hosted Dżem, Tadeusz Nalepa, Kasa Chorych, Gang Olsena, Blues Flowers, Nocna Zmiana Bluesa, Ewa Uryga, Boogie Boys, Easy Rider, Jan "Kyks" Skrzek, Leszek Cichoński "Guitar Workshop", JJBand, and Boogie Chilli. We also hosted musicians from Europe and USA including Carlos Jahnson, Johny "Broadway' Tucker, Janice Harrington, Phil Guy, Ike Cosse from USA and others from Great Britain, Switzerland, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Czech and Slovenia.
